About Mimi

As the Operations Manager of the Wits Health HUBB, Mimi Mhlaba is both diligent to the organization and committed to the profession.

She recently joined the organization in November 2020 and manages the day-to-day operations and affairs of WHH along with managing the organization’s Health Advocate programme. In her previous role as an Organisational Development and Process Consultant, she specialized in employee recruitment and development and has carried these duties into her role as operations manager. 

Ms. Mhlaba holds a postgraduate degree in Industrial sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is currently registered for an MSc Medicine dissertation at Wits, which she will go on to complete in the year 2021.  From a Social Sciences academic background to pursuing academia in Health Sciences, the underlying link is centered on human development, which is displayed in her current role.
