Lethu is a research and innovation manager by profession and vastly experienced in community development and project management.
He is passionate about working with youth development partners that innovatively integrate partnerships with a youth focus to their development work. His research interests include youth skills development, youth career development and active citizenship of young people in South Africa and the rest of the African continent.
His every day work entails financial management, reporting on grant funded projects, management of research strategies of various projects and supporting the post-graduate students. He also develops and oversees communication strategies that promote the research and researchers.
He has previously worked as a researcher for the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), assisting with the conducting of, and reporting on, SAQA research and dissemination of findings. In this work, he developed networks with Quality Councils, Skills Development providers and various government departments that work to promote the National Qualifications Framework.
