Today, the Health Advocates attended a Caddy Golf Day hosted by TT Mbha at the Soweto Country Club. Caddy golfers gathered and competed against each other in an effort to become the competition's inaugural victor 💪. TT Mbha also hopes to increase the caddies financial knowledge through this occasion and boost the local economy. Thanks to our Advocates for providing blood pressure screenings and health education to the attendees... and a big thank you to Mr @ttmbha for having us. The Colour walk and Run at Senaone Secondary School, was another exciting event to which we were invited. What a fun filled day! Keep up the amazing work guys. We are proud of you. 💪

The Wits Entrepreneurship Clinic team visited the Jabulani D-Lab precinct in Jabulani, Soweto. The aim of the WEC is to develop and mentor aspiring young entrepreneurs to be future job creators in South Africa. 2 of our Health Advocates and young entrepreneurs around Soweto were given the platform to pitch their business and received professional and business advice from the panel. It recruits Health Volunteers from the local community and deploys them to health awareness activities in their local community.
